Day 28 - Pippi Longstocking

I made another one of these wigs, but this time I plaited it and put wire through it to make it stand up like Pippi's hair. For the costume I just looked for some random, mismatched clothes to put together, with odd stripey knee socks.
I had to go out and buy yarn for this wig because I didn't have any red/orange yarn on hand. I think it cost about $2.50 for the ball, and I only used about half of it. It doesn't take much time to put together either, it took a couple of hours while watching tv, and the most time consuming part is cutting all the strands of yarn. So this costume cost less than $2.00 to put together.
